August was Quite a Month |

Have you checked out OPENRSM CloudBackup yet? Not to toot our own horn (well, okay... yes we are), CloudBackup has a new set of documentation, online comparisons to other online backup systems, a full FAQ, and online signup and software download. So, what are you waiting for? Your hard disk to fail? A virus to worm it's way through your family photos? A thunderstorm to melt your PC into a blob of silicon? Give CloudBackup a shot. You'll be amazed how easy it is to automatically backup your Windows (all flavors), MAC, and Linux systems and you won't have to even think about backing up your data ever again.
This month also brings Electronic Invoicing to help you manage your accounts with OPENRSM. This way our customers who prefer to use our new Online BillPay can handle their account electronically and still have a paper invoice for their records (without having to print it). And our other customers will know their invoice is on the way and what it is ahead of time. In the future we will be coupling Online BillPay with Email Invoices to make it even more convenient for you. Until we get that piece of integration tested and ready to roll out you can still use the Online BillPay via the website.
As usual, big things are happening at OPENRSM. We were caught off guard earlier in August when spam went to near zero for several days. Then at a reduced level for another week. About the time we figured out the "russian mafia types" were busy messing with the Internet in Georgia (the country, not where Atlanta is) it looks like they started to work overtime to catch up in aggravating us all. We were rejecting over two million spam emails per day for almost two weeks (when the count is usually about 1.1 million per week). Combine that with the additional traffic the Olympics and Political Conventions add to our usual loads it was quite a month.
